One of our most taleneted directors has passed away suddenly at the young age of 54. Anthony Minghella was the master behind Cold Mountain, Talented Mr. Ripley, Breaking and Entering (one of the most under-rated films of 2006) and The English Patient. A very sad day in cinematic history as I'm sure he had many more brilliant films in store. 3.18.2008
