Toronto was great. We spent most of Friday shopping at the many amazing design stores (oh, and drinking lots of great wine). Commute Home is one of the most amazing stores I've ever been to (->). http://www.commutehome.com/ We purchased a fish for the wall (marlin-esc) from a mid-century modern design store and a cool stool from an antique store on Queen West.
Canadians are cheap so Toronto is a great place for good deals.
