The 4th of July Tradition
We stayed in this lovely house over the 4th. It's in Union Pier, MI and not far from the lake (about a block away from Timothy's).
Buddhism. Plain and Simple.
A good friend of mine recommended this book to me and I'm very excited to start reading.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
I have not read any of Larsson's books, but this movie has compelled me to check them out. Brilliantly entertaining Swedish film that is apparently being adapted for American audiences by Mr. David Fincher!
Summer of Reading!
A book I recently purchased from Amazon. Very much looking forward to reading it. The reviews are compelling. I've also recently purchased a number of books on meditation and Buddhism which I can't wait to start. Summer of growing, learning, loving, letting go of the past and embracing the future; an emotional and spiritual awakening.

Union Pier, MI 4th of July 2010
I didn't take too many pics this year because my iphone is bursting at the seams w. very little memory. Union Pier was lovely - as usual - and we will certainly plan on venturing back next fall or summer.
